Mr. Leahy’s founded Locust Advisory, LLC in 2012 with the intent of helping others succeed.

Locust Advisory, LLC (Locust) began its focus on helping CEOs and others address their goals and establish plans to achieve them. For example, Mr. Leahy assisted a firm with evaluating their strengths and ultimately making the decision to sell their firm based on that analysis. He helped another firm evaluate their business and provide for proper succession planning, develop a relationship management process and implement a strategic planning. These two examples have outlined the goal of Locust Advisory very clearly to be assisting others to achieve their goals.

Mr. Leahy served as a member of the audit practice at KPMG while specializing in hospitals, brokerage, and banking and participate in their executive office in the Professional Development Practice. Mr. Leahy also gained invaluable experience at Pershing where he focused on process management, audit, internal and external consulting and relationship management.

In addition to collaborations with businesses, Mr. Leahy has helped several community organizations–including Monmouth Park Charity Fund, Boy Scouts of America, and Lunch Break—with fundraising, leadership development, organizational efforts, which helped each succeed long-term.

In his spare time, Mr. Leahy enjoys work as an artist, especially with acrylics and pastels.

Today with Locust Advisory, LLC, Mr. Leahy continues helping business owners and individuals achieve their goals through smart planning and long-term strategic plan implementation. Working with lawyers, accountants, bookkeepers, investment advisers, brokers, and other professionals, Mr. Leahy led teams and clients in efforts to balance between taking risks and staying within comfort zones—whether they were acquiring other firms, planning succession strategies, or just reevaluating their operations.
